Oh yes, the sun, please. I hate these grey, drizzly winters in this flat landscape under the huge grey dome of an East Anglian sky. Winter should be cold, crisp and sunny, like it always was in my childhood in the north east (yes, I know, of course it wasn't

). I don't mind the seasonal variations in the wildlife - makes for interest and anticipation.
It poured all day yesterday and even though it isn't raining (yet) today it's grey, grey, grey.
Think I'd better go and have a cup of tea and cheer myself up. Then if it doesn't rain I'll clean my car, which is growing moss in the window seals in this damp weather
