How often do you hear that saying? Well, whilst visiting my Mum in Cornwall this week, my husband took a picture of a photo. The photo is of my Dad when he was aged about 26 and sits in a frame on the mantlepiece. Mum has cataracts forming, so much of what she sees is blurred and she either cannot see clearly to read, or has to use a magnifying glass in addition to specs - therefore the photo is there, but not really seen.
My husband then connected his camera to the tv and enlarged the photo for Mum to see - almost life size. I guarantee his actions meant more to her than any Christmas present she was given (the look on her face and her reactions said it all)! Yep. It's the thought that counts.
