Yes things are changing later year on year - Global warming apparently. Although the leaf drop has started it's taking it's time. Spring starts earlier and Autumn finishes later in the plant world nowadays. I used to build the fireworks bonfire at home (to many years ago) and one of the items to go on was the swept up leaves, leaf drop was over and done with by Nov 5th.

In Brickfields most of the trees are still very green, things are changing but yes it's late. But then last year was very hot for a long time, trees went into stress and dropped their leaves early, this year has been relativley wet, they may have a mechanisim to try and "catch up" on what they lost last year, by extending the drop this year.
