I think if there is an option to view a slideshow, that would be sufficient. I'm on dial up (no broadband here and bt say that it is very unlikely we will get it!), and the size of the photos in the gallery is fine for me to view at the moment, although they can be slow. I think any problems will start if a slideshow is the only way to view them.
Agree with the comments of the photographs. I must admit I don't comment but I would only be able to say amazing photo over and over lol.
