Hello I live in Denmark and is a fungi-entusiast with some knownlegde of fungi - not enough to call me an expert though.
I've tried to get this spicies ID'ed by the local danish experts with no luck, so I think I give it a try here.
Date: Sept. 19th 2006
Location: Gaerum Hede, Frederikshavn, N. Jutland, Denmark
Size: Approx. the same dimension as a midsized Amanita rubescens
Ecologi: (Calcareous soil) under oak and beech in mix woodland
The free white gills, the ring and the cap are pointing in the direction of aminita or nearby species. But noone here has ever seen an amanita with that kind of flossy/shaggy stem
