British Nature Photography Festival 2007

This prestigious inaugural event takes place at the Parklands Conference Centre, Leicester, England over the weekend of Saturday-Sunday 17/18 November 2007.

220 places @ £45.00 per person - uncomfirmed discount % for those registering for both days. Please note that Laurie, John and myself will be presenting different talks on each day.

The sole beneficiary - the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust one of Britain's leading conservation organisations. Their work Roy Dennis with the re-introduction of Ospreys to England is well-known.

Confirmed presenters include:

Chris Packham - MC - needs no introduction to British TV audiences.

Laurie Campbell - one of the best known professional nature photographers in Europe whose work has influenced many. Laurie has been awarded 9 times in the BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Neil McIntyre - twice winner of the Eric Hosking award in the BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year and leading professional Scottish wildlife photographer. Neil's work concentrates on the Hghlands of Scotland

Pete Cairns- a superb presenter and outstanding professional photographer who along with Mark Hamblin runs Wildshots Photographic Holidays. Pete will be presenting his much acclaimed audio-visual presentation "Tooth & Claw". Pete has won several awards in the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year and International Wildbird Photographer of the Year.

John Beatty - leading professional mountaineering and outdoor photographer and one of the world's leading audio-visual artists. Those who attend the Banff Mountain Film Festival (Canada) & Kendal Film Festival (UK) will already be acquainted with John's work. Editor of the John Muir Trust Yearbook.

Ben Osborne - leading BBC film-maker whose credits include "Life in the Freezer" ~ "The Blue Planet” ~ "Planet Earth" and whose work with Sir David Attenborough is well-known.

Geoff Simpson - professional natural history photographer specialising in producing evocative images of Britain's wild nature and wild places and founder of the BNPF. Winner of the 2005 Wildbird Photographer of the Year "Birds in Britain"
