Re: Greenmount Garden Needs Your Help I think there is room for both eye appeal and gardening for wildlife. Old cars parked in a front garden, with other attendant articles of rubbish can be very offensive, and may attract vermin, whilst allowing some overgrowth may be acceptable. We have an example of both nearby - an overgrown garden with a rusting car nestling in the trees. Whenever the property is eventually sold, I have no doubt that many of the saplings will have to be taken out as they are very likely damaging the property.
A garden makeover at present isn't the answer and I enjoy the birds which visit, but there is a place for a happy medium. |
