Very appropriate considering today's date.Last year a local farmer turned his field over and in June there was an explosion of poppies. It was even pictured on local news. There were people far and wide coming to picture it.
I think they're beautiful and always means the beginning of summer to me.
I noticed that this year the coastal horned poppies did well. Love their wonderful yellow colour. julie
