I was hoping members might tell us a little about 'their' environment - there are so many places in the British Isles I've never visited and I'm sure I'm not alone, so a description of terrain, population, and a few wildlife facts would be of interest. glsammy was kind enough to respond, but I'd like to hear a few more (many end up in an introductory thread and are then 'lost').
