Eventually I gave up on these: seem of little use to low-end users such as ourslves who tend to spend 2-7 days on smaller sites. We generally use municipals and, in France, at least have been perfectly happy with them.
The forums at
UKCampsite.co.uk Camping Forums, Motorhome Forums, and Caravanning Forums can be very informative but, of course, different people like different types of campsites ...
