as i mentioned on another thread, i met pat morris (quoted extensively above as being pro milk) at a natural history society meeting where he was giving a talk and asked him about this.
he says that his work is being misquoted out of context, and that his findings only support the idea that hedge hogs drink a lot of milk , not that it is good good for them - he says that his view is that it is better to feed milk than feed nothing, but it is better to feed water and meat than it is to feed milk.
he also said that if you feel you really must feed milk it is better to feed goats milk or complan formula than it is to feed cows milk.
