I don't agree Diane. I think it's possibly an Aythya hybrid, possibly Pochard x ?. Look at the nail marking on the bill. There's possibly even Ringed necked duck in it as well.
I have to hold my hands up and say I wouldn't be confident on any ID I was to place on this duck.
