| Hi A few years ago I also had a Blackbird nesting in a shed with at the same time a Robin nest. As I had to make frequent use of the shed I would warn the birds before I entered. Gentle clicking of the tongue seemed to be the most useful for the Blackie. Also I found that no direct eye contact helped. Both pairs of birds successfully raised their young and indeed if memory serves me I had to open the door to let the young Blackbirds out. |
