Just an idea. I would have thought by now that you had a feel of which members are conversant with a particular section of Wildlife. i.e My specialist subject would be Birds, Fourcreeks, Dragonflies etc.
I would have thought it possible that whenever an unidentified subject goes into the gallery admin, or whatever other means. could alert that particular member(s). That way if an unidentified bird was to go into the gallery I, or any other birding person, could check it out straight away and hopefully ID it. The same could work for any other photo whether it be flower, insect or anything else that has a chance of being identified.
