Lol Glsammy, your just like me, I collect wood off the beach, or use old wood, I find the hogs like old wood, they don't like the smell of anything new, posting the cottage bird feeder I made, the window was from the £1 shop, and the rest made of bits of wood, I mixed up some plaster for the front, smeared it on the wood, and gave three coats of paint, the roof is just wood and bin bags on top to keep the rain out, but I had to spend a bit on the thatch, it came in a big roll, so going to use it for other nest boxes. but this cottage is not all what it seems, as it take s on a more sinister role when its used for rat catching.
