Hello builderbob. I won't be the first to reverse your name...that would be silly.
Think you'll find that we've got quite a few parasitic wasps in this country, just that we're not aware of them like we are with the common old wasp.
There's one that lays an egg in the caterpillar of the Holly Blue and gets eaten from within. The wasp is called Listrodromus nycthemerus.
Nice way to go...not!
