Small wonder people do not understand birding, or moreso birders. Funny because I really enjoyed myself last week at Titchwell and Snettisham and saw none of this jealousy that seems to manifest itself on boards. So what if mummy or daddy bought their kids nice gear so that they may favour a decent hobby? Surely you would rather that than they be out theiving from birders vehicles in the car parks.

Don't get me wrong. I am not having a go at birders. I just find it completely unnecessary to use such derogatory slang about those who have a slightly different interest.
