Thankfully I didn't need to improve any of my birding equipment and camera in the last twelve months but there was one thing I received in the last twelve months that stands out.
Technically it doesn't go in this best buy catergory because I was given it for free by a friend. It is a Mecury Vapour Moth Trap and once the spring is here you will see this trap out in the garden most weekends collecting my garden moths. I am by no means an expert on identyfying moths but love trying to work out the different species and also photographing them.
