 Hunter's Moon 7.10.06
Did anyone see the beautiful Hunter's Moon which was apparently at its brightest at around 4.15a.m. today. I did, and it was so radiant it was almost too difficult to look at. Still gleaming when we got up at about 6.15a.m.
According to legend this bright moon was given the title of Hunter's Moon because it enabled poachers to stalk their prey more easily in years gone by - no doubt the gamekeepers could also spot the poachers too.
