Thanks for the welcome.
I am very lucky where I live not just for the wildlife..but this is a very small village (well Hamlet really) of about 8 houses..and over the years we have managed to plant more trees (we planted over 500 7 seven years ago) the bird life has really altered and we get many more species. We have a small village pond..it really is just a lovely place to watch and observe nature.
Being so near to the Coast we do not get many hard Winters..
At the moment there are some 40+ long tailed tits in the garden (not much to write home about on their own) but with so many - their tinkling call is magical - not to mention their acrobatic skills.
The site is very informative ..I have made a large mug of tea and really enjoying reading other members postings..the photos are also excellent.
