The highlight alert and histogram in the shooting information display are powerful tools and a key advantage over film and I would strongly advise anyone to make full use of them to avoid dissapointment later. As for the size of screen I would rather view this information on a 2.5" screen as opposed to 1.8".
Sure you can bracket but why take the risk.
Gerry | I take your point but I find the 20D screen perfectly adequate for the highlights and histogram, I don't tend to use it to check image optical quality, usually it is not bright enough and I saw the image anyway in the viewfinder! Jon
