Can you make a big enough pile of stones towards the edge of the pond and then they can get in an out?

If you move them out and any water is left in the pond, they may come back in. It is possible that even if you take the frogs out and empty the pond, they may jump back in because they are used to it being there.

I don't worry about them dying. Even though it is warming up I reckon they could survive a few days without food and they can breathe under water.
