BotD has to be this lovely little fella, which i photographed at the bird ringing station at uni. usually the yellowhammers there just fly off and don't come back when you approach, but i stayed behind the viewing panel long enough for this one to come down and start feeding. best views i've had of one so far! also watched a buzzard for a long time sitting on a fence post, while a skylark sang right above my head, great soundtrack!!!
