Ramalina farinacea?
Sorry for the poor photos, I didn't have my camera out with me (won't make that mistake again!). It was growing on hawthorn among
Xanthoria parietina, so that would fit with the 'found on nutrient-rich bark'. I initially thought
Evernia but it is not lighter underneath, so then I thought
Ramalina. I may be wrong, I'm still very overwhelmed by this lichen book I have, but it looks like it has 'soredia along the margins of the branches in disc-like or oval soralia'
I may be completely wrong, but at least I've attempted an identification this time!
