Thanks for your comments. I also read the post about watermarks which may be worth doing for some images.
On my own web site I have a lot of small images which when clicked will display a larger image. I deliberately made these larger images smaller than I would have preferred. Together with the low screen resolution, the opportunities to use them illegally is minimised.
