First I'd have a full flora & fauna survey done before any thoughts of bringing in exotic species. We've all seen what introduced f&f can do. Who knows what may be on that planet that can be helpful to humans, either for food, draught, construction or pleasure.
Personally, I'd want to get to know the indigenous wildlife and landscape first.
Certainly No cats.
