There was a piece on Countryfile a few months back on this issue, where the fishfarms were saying they needed to protect their livelyhood, which is fair enough. The problem was at least one of the new farms was built right next to a seal colony/haul out area, which is dumb enough in itself but it was also being used by a seal tour boat who had seen a massive decline in seals, which is sure to effect his lively hood! |
