| Re: dead frogs britains freeze Just read the BBC site that Paul recommended about the pro's and cons of interfering with frozen ponds, thing is, when a pond has got some silt at the bottom[as mine has] the toxins overwhelmed my frogs, I was upset about the death toll-but, pleased to report that one frog survived, found alive in my compost bin yesterday, under the lid, placed him at the side of the pond in the sun and he was gone when I checked 5 minutes later, his future,-up to Nature. |
