| Any spawn yet?
In Cornwall, we have had spawn in our pond before Christmas some years. As we tend to get our coldest spell of weather and most frosts in Jan/Feb, often the first lots don't survive. We took our pond leaf net off this week, so any interested frogs/toads etc can get in the pond without fear of getting tangled. We have a very cold spell here at the moment, the same as most of the country, but I was just curious if anyone has seen any yet? |
