[nightshade]

I have been watching a buzzard on a country road,I first noticed it sitting in a hedge about 4feet high watching the road so camera out I tried to get a pic. it just moved off but seemed reluctant to go far
I had a look around thinking it had a kill or perhaps a companion that was hurt or trapped but could find nothing,so I returned to the car and waited
nothing doing
Over the next few days I returned to the same area and there was the buzzard,just then a lorry came cannonballing along the road the bird lifted off
and flipped into the vehicles slipstream,just above the top rear of the roof and rode the turbulance,I witnessed this on several occasions,vans and lorries never cars,is this a surfin-bird?or am I missing something more obvious
I have seen a buzzard in wales that looked for prey after a train had passed and disturbed stuff
