I have a Panasonic FZ30 which takes Quicktime movies. I do not have Quicktime Pro to convert the movies to avi or some format acceptable for Windows Movie Maker.

I have googled this topic but I am slightly overwhelmed by the information available and the assumed level of knowledge - 'Me; I know nothing'.

What I am looking for is a simple converter, hopefully free, so that I can join together all the small takes on the same subject.

My littlest granddaughter is to be christened next Sunday. Can anyone help, please?
