Hi Ange,
welcome from me too, especially for someone from that fabby island you have there.
It might be interesting to compare lichen notes with jennyS, whos based in SW Ireland - equally wet and windswept and gulf stream warmed!
Quite a few fungi like acid soil and rough meadow like we get here too, but the absence of many trees will limit what you get there I imagine.
