I'd just like to say hello to everyone and tell you what a great site I think this is - I have been telling everyone else so I thought I would tell you too
I have also just found another good site which I thought some of you might be interested in - especially if you like butterflies (and moths). The site is
www.ukbutterflies.co.uk and it is has information and photos of butterflies in all it's stages. Not only that but it has a link to Google Earth whereby you can check out the butterfly sites near you (or anywhere else come to that). If you click on the pinpoint of the area you are interested in it tells you what butterflies can be found in that area. You need to download Google Earth but it's all self-explanatory on the site - just to go 'Sites' and click on the 'Google Earth Support'. There's sightings in different areas and all sorts - haven't had chance to check it all out myself yet but it looks good. Anyway it's late now so will have to look again tomorrow...
