Deer

Just thought i would tell you a little story, one of my ex collegues in the fire service who is a bit of a forester was driving through the forest one evening on his way to Lyndhurst from Brockenhurst, a car coming the other way hit a deer and left it lying motionless in the road, he stopped and told the driver he would deal with the carcass and suggested the chap carry on with his journey as it was a forest animal, not owned by anyone there would be no need to report the incident, he had an ulterior motive of course, that of fresh venison in his freezer for a few weeks.

With the help of his wife they got the carcass into the back of his 4/4 and continued their journey, as they approached Lyndhurst, the carcass came alive (It had only been knocked out) and stood up in the back of his vehicle facing the front, his dogs were barking, wife was screaming and he ended up letting it out of the back in the middle of Lyndhurst high street by the traffic lights which were on red, it wasn't too bad being that it was evening and not many people were around but he said it was the most embarrasing thing he had ever done.
