today whilst putting rubbish in the bin a car with 2 occupants in looked like they were looking for a house the next thing all hell broke loose magpies crows starlings all went up and it sounded like 1 had been attacked by the way it was sqawking. a neighbour ran out and the car drove past and 1 of them had a hawk in tethers on his arm. apparently the neighbour witnessed them throw the hawk out and attack the birds alas i didnt see if it took a bird but can only assume it made a hit from the racket and the neighbour didnt know either. never heard of this before and very surprised i can tell you. has anyone else ? rossy.
