There are 3 more pics in the series, all taken by my other half, which I'll post later.

I'm still trying to establish how unusual this sighting is.

We knew there were hazel dormice in the garden and the surrounding lanes and woods (I've found chewed nuts; there are dormice nestboxes locally). It's just that we never in our wildest dreams expected to get photographic evidence like this...
