The reason I don't think that it's an otter is that there are no otters any where near us at all. None live in the area, and I don't think they ever have really. It's in a very rural village called Lea. Farms everywhere, and nowhere suitable for otters to live.

The stream is pretty much always overgrown with vegetation and is very shallow and small. Nothing that big could live in it. To be honest it's not really a stream. More like a bit of water that goes in a line in one direction
I'll see if mum can get some more pics of the area and scat etc. Tis very odd. xxx
