A late afternoon walk in Alice Holt Forest.
Most of the birds had gone to bed but there were streams of Redwings coming in to roost, a huge roost of Wood Pigeons, Robins making their "quiet" alarm call from hiding places in the undergrowth, some redpolls and a very busy flock of Long-tailed Tits.
By the time I got home the Tawny Owls were calling.
Nice experience on a calm, clear afternoon after all our terrible wind and rain
