I am a bit of a novice! Bought some good books but having difficulty! Is this perhaps a milkcap or in some books looks like a false chanterelle?
A number of these on edge of woods in grass in Hertfordshire. Sorry about stem missing but is thin and medium brown. Gills whiteish/cream.
