Without delving too deeply, Ellis mentions 12 species of
Octospora for Britain in their book 'Microfungi on Miscellaneous Substrates'.
There is also a possibility you may have
O.humosa, as with your lower specimen in the photo, it looks to have a 'toothed' edge to the cup, but that's only my interpretation.
You may still be right though.
