i understand your frustration but i dont share it because once you get used to it resize and rename shouldnt take hours - I dont know how many pics you are talking about but given the upload limit (for the Gallery) of ten per day - could easily resize etc that many in 20 minuites.

Also with photoshop (or elements) you can set up a batch process or "droplet" to do loads of files and then just leave it running in the background

my "prepare for web" droplet goes : open file, duplicate, resize to 800x600 (assuming its a landscape format pic - i have a seperate droplet for portrait), resave at quality 7 in location x - the files output from this are ideal for wab and also for use on my own website or whatever.

then the only manual thing you have to do is the wab upload and titling which doesnt take long at all.
