Does anyone know what the usual range for a Tawny is, I usually have one perched on my kitchen roof at some point over a night and I have seen one in a local orchard about a quarter of a mile south west of me and yesterday heard another one in Vicarage wood which is about 0.5 - 0.75 of a mile to the North - was wondering if these are the same or different birds. |
