I don't know or care how it's classed or what it's called but it seems to me (as someone who's been a member here in several guises for well over a year now) that there are far too many serious, possibly even potentially educational threads that are completely spoilt and made almost unreadable by the nonsense and wisecracks that follow - sometimes from the first respondent onwards.
Please folks, if you want this forum to be taken seriously, keep the funnies and off-topic for the treehouse or a separate thread.
