My friend's 14 year old son is doing Duke of Edinburg Bronze and has started birdwatching as part of it. Took him to Richmond Park and we were able to see a lot of birds close up which is great for 1st time I-D especially in the bright sunshine.
We also saw green woodpecker, GS woodpecker, stock dove, redpoll, GC grebe, mandarin duck, shelduck, kestrel, wren, fieldfare
