Im no expert but we have so many doves where we live & Im sure it wasn't a dove call. Someone else said wood pigeon but once again, I definately know what they sound like. Its a mystery (& definately sounded like a cuckoo!!). Oh well, shame I was the only one to hear it...., (maybe I am going bonkers ha ha)
