It looks like
Heteropoda venatoria - a Giant Crab/Huntsman spider. They are not native to this country and are usually brought in via bananas hence their common name Banana spider. They can bite, though would have to be provoked and are very fast movers, they must be treated with caution and respect. Could do with another photo from above if possible.
If you contact the RSPCA in your area they will probably have a contact who will take it off your hands (may even be me!).
