Hi,
I found these two species in my local cemetery. For the moment I'm presuming them to be of the
Cortinarius genus but I look forward to being corrected.
Firstly, these were growing in clusters on leaf litter. Veil\cortina remnants on the stipe, gills adnate. Strange rubbery odour, almost akin to that of
Lepiota cristata. I'm presuming this isn't
Cortinarius sanguineus as only the stipe and gills were red.

This was found in grassland. The cap was tough and leathery with a pronounced umbo. The widely spaced gills were strongly sinuate. Stipe was fibrous with evidence of rusty spores. No particular odour. Hope someone doesn't inform me this is
Marasmius oreades now...

Any help appreciated,
thanks, Simon.
