I don't think so Jason, I have a few mites varying in size up to 1mm on the same wall bottom, where I got the pics of Acalypta parvula. They are more rounded, shiny and have thin legs with a tiny head.

Look carefully at my pic, the back is not rounded but silghtly more flattened, it has small indentations and 3 chunky little legs both sides without the palps at the front which mites have. Look at the head, it's broad and you should be able to see a large eye on either side. There's also visible some small antennae which have reddish ends. Not at all like a mite!
