given the number of eos lenses available second hand i really wouldnt bother - converted FD do meter but they dont autofocus, and do you really want your metering to be jus"reasonably accurate"
its fair enough if you already own a load of FDs but if you dont i'd be inclined to start building up a set of second hand EF lenses instead ( incidentally watch out for some of the third party lenses - particularly sigma - where the older EF ones deont all work with the digital eos cameras )
