Am I right in assuming you know the screaming wasn't a fox? Maybe there was an escaped big cat? I know that sounds weird but there are plenty of sightings of big cats in britain and as they can climb and can weigh quite a bit it would explain the broken tree branches and flattened brambles. Might even have have been a pair mating. Just a long shot |
